The 2026 Sound on Stage Awards Nominations window has closed. Now comes the fun part, combing through all of the over 200 shows that we attended this past season and choosing our final five nominees in each category, to be presented via live stream on Saturday, August 1. Stay tuned in this space for updates and mark your calendars for Monday, September 14 for our awards event, returning this year to Tacoma Little Theatre.

Key Dates:
June 30, 2026 - last day for shows to be considered for the 2025 Sound on Stage Theatre Awards (season runs July 1 - June 30)
August 1, 2026 - announcement of final 5 nominees in all categories (via livestream)
August 10, 2026 - tickets go on sale to the public
September 6, 2026 - last day for voting in the People’s Choice awards for Best Play and Best Musical
September 14, 2026 - 2026 Sound on Stage Theatre Awards
