Behind the Curtain - Ingrid Sanai Buron

Ingrid Sanai Buron is well known in the area for her many roles on stage, which include Lady Anabella in the Edmonds Driftwood Players production of Ada and the Engine, Sister Aloysius in the recently closed Doubt: A Parable at Second Story Rep, and Linda in Phoenix Theatre's Move Over Mrs. Markham, just to name a few. In fact, Ingrid won our award for Best Supporting Actor in a Play for her role in Mrs. Markham and was part of their award winning ensemble as well. She's not just a stage actor, though.

In this episode of Behind the Curtain, in our Actor's Workshop series where we focus not on shows, but on individual artists, Ingrid told us about her journey from her home in the Pacific Northwest to LA (via New York), where she landed roles on some pretty well known TV shows (House!), what led to her decision to return home, and what she's been doing since then, as well as what is coming up next for her. Along the way, she provides snippets of advice for those looking to start in stage or screen, and talks about her bucket list of roles.
