Between the Pages - Here & Their (Playwright Jasmine Joshua)

In the latest installment of our Between the Pages with The Sound on Stage series, in which we feature authors and playwrights, we meet up again with Jasmine Joshua. Jasmine previously appeared on an episode of Get to Know a Theatre to talk about Reboot Theatre and its 10th Anniversary celebration. Jasmine also just closed Reboot's amazing adaptation of Oliver!, in which they played Fagin.

Jasmine's latest achievement, their brand new musical Here & Their, which is opening at 12th Avenue Arts on June 13th and runs through the 28th. In this episode of Between the Pages, we discussed the origin and inspiration for the musical, its path from idea to page to stage, the collaboration among the creative team, and what it's been like for them to direct a piece that she wrote.
