Behind the Curtain - Erik Furuheim (E-Man Scenic Design and Carpentry)

Cabaret, opening tonight (4/26) at Bainbridge Performing Arts' Buxton Center and running through May 12, is the latest in a series of set designs from Erik Furuheim, who is known through out the Puget Sound region for his varied and outstanding set designs and builds. We go Behind the Curtain with Erik to discuss his process, some of his favorite, most challenging, and nominated designs, as well as his new endeavor, E-Man Scenic Design and Carpentry.

Besides Cabaret, his work can currently be seen at Renton Civic Theatre in their production of Rope, which closes on April 27. In addition to his current work, we also chatted with him about his upcoming projects, his dream roles, and how he got his start in theatre.
